A team from Educators' Institute for Human Rights (EIHR) visited PeacEdu Initiave Rwanda

On 4 March, 2023, a team from the organization of Educators' Institute for Human Rights from Washington DC in U.S; one of PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda partners, visited PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda. They were able to see different activities carried out by the organization. The team was together with different history and language teachers from different regions across the country. The organization shared with them it's activities regarding peace building, reconcilation, forgiveness as well as how the members of PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda rebuilt themselves as a community. They were also able to hear different testimonies from suvivors and former perpetrators who confessed their role during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

After that, they thanked the organization for its role in helping Rwndans live together again in harmony. The visitors listened and were attentive while the testimonies of different members of PeacEdu Initiative Rwanda were being shared. They were pleased to see how the organization was able to rebuild and reconcile Rwandans through its activities of peace building and were happy that rhey were our partner who support us in our daily activities.
